Wi-Fi Now interview: Challenges and Solutions for Wi-Fi 7 Testing | Part 3
In this third installment of our three-part series with Wi-Fi Now on testing Wi-Fi 7, we discuss testing of Wi-Fi stations, for example, phones, laptops, VR systems, and even IoT devices.
Why is testing Wi-Fi stations different than testing access points?
Testing stations are often more difficult partly because you don't have access to the OS. They tend to have much lower transmit power, so signal strength and path loss are an issue. Their antennas are generally smaller; it is also difficult to get insight into what's happening within the device itself.
